Crazy Idea!

All right folks, I might just be jumping off the deep end here, but here we go. 30 cats in 30 day $30 each. That's right. I'm going to draw or paint a cat a day for the next 30 days. And they will all be for sale, $30 each. I'm not going to give myself any other rules, anything goes, realistic, cartoony, serious, silly. On canvas, wood, paper, stone, whatever catches my imagination.

High Desert Humane Society

Did a little more work today at the Humane Society.

I worked on the cat a bit, still not totally happy with him, I think his neck is too long.

I added a little detail to the dogs face. I named him "Lucky", as in lucky to be alive.

I added this fat little puppy running towards you. I will work on him some more the next time I go to paint.

High Desert Humane Society

Today was a beautiful day so I went over to downtown Globe and worked on the store front for the High Desert Humane Society's new Boutique.
The front of the building, with the sign up.

The corner of the building. The door is at the side of the building.

I added a sign post to the corner to help direct people to the entrance.

The first of several animals to be added.

The dog and cat are not finished yet. These animals will not have a lot of fine detail because the brick surface of the building is very rough  and there is no way I can get all the fine hairs put in that I normally do when I am painting animals.

Trash Can Mural Finish!

I was also able to finally get the trashcan mural finished and delivered.
These pictures were taken while it was still on my paint table. I'll have to get down to Miami and take some more of it sitting out on the side walk.

Tell me what  you think!

Getting Caught Up

I've been a bit behind in posting over the holidays, so trying to catch up now. I finished the sign for the Humane Society and delivered it.
