Happy Paint Party Friday

So I'm a little late joining the party, Paint Part Friday, but better late than never, right? I love this blog hop and since it's snowing and yuck outside, I'll probably have time to visit everybody this time around.


I've been trying to at least draw a little every day, sometimes sitting watching TV and doodling in the evening. Here's one from a few days ago.

My oldest daughter came down to visit from Boise and brought me a present, a new sketch book with a chicken. So cool. (You have to know I'm a crazy chicken lady) ;=)

    Beautiful drawings Mary,
    Our weather (flooding, dark, hoolie days) has been terrible so I've been drawing to try to distract myself that we hadn't seen the sky never mind the sun for over a week!
    The rooster cover is just perfect for you... now we'll look forward to see how you create in in!

    well, i personally like "weird" but i prefer to see it as unique- against the norm- so i love your drawings (especially the rocks) i am also trying to sketch/draw everyday so i can illustrate my life this year and while i'm not too much in to roosters the sketchbook cover is pretty neat. happy ppf.
